A charming Vintage Reja Peacock Brooch. Golden metalwork surrounds a huge green fancy cut crystal depicting the Peacock's body. A rare and whimsical treasure from costume jewel house Reja in the 1940s. Totally charming lapel decoration. Reja was founded by Sol Finkelstein in New York in 1939 ceasing production in 1952. Reja created pieces of exceptional design and craftmanship and they are especially known for their dramatic figurals, their birds amongst the most coveted.
