A pair of Vintage Art Deco Cut Crystal Dress Clips made in Czechoslovakia for the French market. Exquisite quality geometric design crystals topped with rhodium or chromed mounts. Effortlessly stylish works of Art Deco craftmanship. During the 1920s & 30s the Art Deco style reigned supreme. The bold new look flowed though to fashion introducing streamlined designs that relied on ornamentation for the ultimate touch of prestige and glamour. The dress clip was born. Along with shoulder length earrings dazzling below the chin-length bob, jewelled buttons and clasps, the dress clip was renowned for decorating the necklines and the furs of the fashionistas of the day. Each one a wearable work of art and masterful feat of miniature engineering the Art Deco dress clip remains a cherished possession and style statement forever more.
